Supplemental Standards Page
With the release of the 2008-2009
USPAP, the Supplemental Standards Rule was deleted, however, this does not
diminish the appraiser's obligation to comply with all relevant laws, regulations and guidelines.
The rewritten COMPETENCY RULE
(2010-2011 USPAP) makes clear that a part of Appraiser competency is familiarity
with the specific laws and regulations that are applicable in an assignment.
